Though we are commonly referred to as “the pump people” by our customers, PGE partners with industry leading manufacturers to support a wide range of equipment such as pumps, valves, mixers, blowers, agitators, seals, motors, and more–as well as parts and accessories.
What sets us apart from all others is that we use our engineering expertise and partnership skills to ensure that our customers maximize their cost savings potential with each and every project. To date, PGE has provided over $110 Million in documented savings (and counting!) for our customers, directly impacting their bottom line.

Our Story
Preferred Global Equipment’s journey began in 2005 with a vision to redefine the industry standard for engineering service in manufacturing facilities. We believed that engineering solutions and world class customer support did not have to be mutually exclusive. Fast forward almost two decades, and this vision has become our reality.
Today, PGE is a global supplier of high quality equipment, systems, and engineering solutions for a variety of chemical, sanitary, and fluid handling industries. With over 100 years of collective experience on our team, we are dedicated to meeting the unique needs of our clients and providing them with expert guidance, support and, ultimately, cost savings.

Meet the PGE Team
Adam is a born and raised Midwesterner, growing up in Central Wisconsin and attending college at the University of Minnesota – Duluth where he received his degree in Mechanical Engineering. He now works out of Northern Utah, bringing his paper industry experience and drive to solve problems with him. He enjoys spending any extra time being active, whether it be mountain biking, skiing, playing hockey, rock climbing, fishing, or anything else that gets him outside.

Atlantis is new to PGE as of April 2024 and graduated from Shroder HS in Cincinnati, Ohio. When she’s not exploring Cincinnati with her boyfriend, Luke, you will find her playing video games, listening to most types of music, or reading a TikTok-recommended book. Atlantis is a proud parent to her pet snake, Leonard, whom she boldly assumed caring for when her brother joined the Army.

PGE welcomed Autumn in 2023. Raised in rural Pennsylvania, she relocated to middle Ohio for her college career and now resides in West Chester, Ohio with her young son, Archer, their dog, Mozzarella, and cat, Tog. On a warm Saturday, you can find her savoring a lemon bar in the sunshine at Findlay Market. A self-proclaimed lover of carbs, her go-to happy hour order is beer and pretzel bites. Yum!

Bobby, a Cincinnati native and Elder HS alum, graduated with a Social Studies Education degree from Miami University. He joined PGE in September 2024, bringing 10 years of industrial valve expertise. A passionate Buckeye fan, Bobby enjoys beer league softball, concerts (with a soft spot for early 2000s pop punk), and supporting his five nephews' sports. An avid movie enthusiast, Bobby saw 104 films in theaters in 2019 and still averages about 50 yearly! That’s a lot of popcorn!

Born in Texas and raised in Virginia, Brooke is among our first hires at our Inwood, WV office. She studied medical assistance and accounting at Blue Ridge Community College. A true country girl, she enjoys cars, country music, cheering for her Cowboys, and time with loved ones and her animals. Fun fact: Her family descends from Clan Frazier of Scotland, and even has their own tartan!

Chad brings over 25 years of sales experience to his role as Account Manager. Born and raised in North Carolina, Chad studied Business Management at UNC Wilmington and roots for the Carolina Panthers. He enjoys beach time and hiking with his wife, four daughters, and two rescue pups. He loves being on a team that can assist PGE customers with any situation, no matter the scope.

Chris, a Wisonsinite and devoted Cheesehead (Go Packers!), is among PGE's longest-serving members since 2009. Beyond hitting sales targets and rooting for his team, he cherishes moments with his favorite people - his wife, three kids, three grandkids, and three dogs.

Christian graduated from Milford High in 2014 and went on to study at Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. He’s a family man with three kids—two girls and a boy—and two dogs, Cooper the chocolate lab and Jax the Shorkie. In his free time, Christian enjoys fishing, sports, collecting baseball cards, and traveling. He joined PGE in October 2024 and quickly proved himself a valuable asset to the team!

Dave joined the team in 2022 and brought with him 10 years' experience industrial equipment sales. A native to Cincy, he lives in Maineville with Tina, his wife of 26 years, and daughter Kristina. With 2 cats and 2 dogs, Dave is a big an animal lover. His childhood dream of horse training eventually came true—he used to race/drive harness horses! His advice to PGE newbies: "Enjoy the ride!".

Ed graduated from Purdue with a Mechanical Engineering degree before relocating to Virginia. Growing up in a suburb of Chicago didn't stop Ed from rooting for his favorite team, the Green Bay Packers. When he's not helping customers solve complex problems, Ed enjoys fishing, golfing and spending time with his three grown children, wife Amy, and two golden retrievers, Cooper and Briggs.

Meet Emily, team member since 2019. A proud West-Sider (it’s a Cincinnati thing), Emily attended Oak Hills HS and later UC, where she studied rhetoric. Emily is a true creative; she’s passionate about films, singing, Greek dancing, writing/editing, drawing, and life. She also has a deep affinity for dogs, and if given the opportunity she would start a sanctuary for disabled/elderly animals.

Born and raised in Cincinnati and an Elder High School alum, Grayson joined PGE in 2021 as a welder/fabricator. In his spare time, Grayson likes watching and rooting for his favorite teams, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Reds.

Gus hails from Dayton, OH and has been with PGE since 2019. He graduated from Beavercreek HS, studied business at UC, and earned his MBA from NKU. A self-proclaimed “Greek Ginger”, Gus enjoys traveling, the Bengals, listening to punk music, and beer (all the beer!). He loves Cincinnati because there is always something to do. He is also resourceful, insisting that his bio mention that he is very single.

Born in Cleveland and raised in Lebanon, OH, Jared joined PGE in September 2024. A Lebanon HS alum and avid sports fan, he cheers for the Vikings, Longhorns, and Cavaliers. Off the clock, Jared enjoys golfing, fishing, gaming, and collecting sports cards. He lives with his girlfriend, Emily, and their three cats. Once a horse racer, he dreams of opening a training center someday. His advice to new teammates? Embrace learning and enjoy the journey!

Jessica has been a valued team member since 2021. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, she is a dedicated mother to her children, Shane and Atlantis, and lives with her boyfriend, David. She is passionate about crafting, baking, and exploring through travel. Jessica has a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence, which shines through in her work.

Juliet grew up all over the US in a military family and even attended HS in Germany. She studied the Pashto Language while enlisted in the Army and ECE at Cincinnati State before joining PGE in 2022. Juliet loves the food culture in Cincinnati (especially Graeter's & Skyline) and enjoys needlework, playing console/board games with her husband and daughter, and loving on her dog and cat.

Justin currently lives in Cincinnati with his wife, Melissa, and their two daughters, Stella and Clara (and Buttercup the hamster). He has many different interests, but his passion for bikes (motorized and otherwise) and creating new things are particularly remarkable. Justin's range of experience in the manufacturing world and understanding of industry tools make him a key PGE team member.

Born and raised in the South, Karen Henderson Werner co-founded PGE in 2005 with her husband of 22 years, Mark, in Cincinnati where they now reside. Karen began her career in the Fluid Handling Industry in 1988.

Korey, a native Cincinnatian and graduate of Goshen HS, has been with PGE since 2020. He lives with his wife, new daughter, and three dogs. Korey loves all kinds of music, cheering on his favorite Cincinnati teams –the Reds, Bengals, and UC Bearcats– working out, and shooting guns. Like a true patriot, his favorite holiday is the 4th of July.

Meet Kristi, a Nashville-born, country-music loving, equestrian enthusiast. Kristi joined PGE in 2020 (and is always sure to grab a Skyline coney when in town)! Her proudest achievement is her handsome son Gunner, who keeps her and husband, Richard, busy in the best way! As a family, they love to hunt, boat, fish, camp, travel, play with their dachshunds, and share in their love for Jesus Christ.

With his infectious enthusiasm, strong work ethic, and quintessential Midwestern charm, Kyle is a valued addition to the PGE team.

Laura joined PGE in 2010 after earning her BBA and MBA in Accounting from UC. When she’s not at the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her friends, family, and dogs. She draws inspiration from PGE's team growth and is excited for what the future holds. As a Bengals superfan, it's no surprise that when asked where you could find her on Sundays, she responded, “tailgating, of course!”.

Meet Luis, a Texan turned Utahn and PGE team member since 2023. He earned his BS in Chemical Engineering at Lamar University. When he's not spending time with his girlfriend Emily and their furry dog duo (Macey and Fives), you can find him dirt biking, "shredding the gnar", hunting, or fishing. One of his proudest achievements is being a mentor to his brother and watching him become an engineer.

Maddie is from Winchester, VA and attended Slippery Rock University, where she studied communications and social work. She joined PGE in 2022 and currently lives in Inwood, West Virginia with her husband and two labradors. Some of her favorite things include her grandfather's Slovenian polka band, racecars, Christmas, volunteering, the Steelers, and enjoying a hard cider after a hard day's work.

Mark Werner was born and raised in Cincinnati, where he co-founded PGE with his wife, Karen, in 2005. Mark has been in the Fluid Handling Industry for over 50 years.

A lifelong Cincinnatian, Matthew joined PGE in September ‘24. He attended The Summit CDS and is a UC Mech. Eng. grad. The (unofficial) authority of coffee cocktails in Cincinnati, he enjoys 3D Printing, sand volleyball, and cheering for FC Cincinnati. On a typical Sunday, you can find him spending time with his two cats – Bento and Luca – and ordering Indian takeout with his girlfriend Maria. Things that excite Matt include Cincinnati’s unique neighborhoods and, naturally, the metric system!

Melody grew up in Michigan, where she attended Port Huron Northern High School, and joined PGE in September of 2022. Her proudest achievement is being a mom, and she loves spending time with her husband of 24 years (and fellow PGE colleague) Chris, her three kids, three grandkids and three dogs. Outside of work and family, Melody loves making cards and paper crafting.

Molly was born and raised in Cincinnati and studied business administration/fashion design at UC, giving her a unique perspective in her work. She cherishes her family as a proud mother and wife, and finds inspiration in balancing her career and personal responsibilities. In fact, she credits her three wonderful children for her outstanding skills in organization, time management, and adaptability.

Rodney joined PGE in April 2025 as part of our Invoicing Team. Born and raised in the suburbs of Cincinnati, he recently studied Accounting at UC. He takes pride in his dedication and resilience in both his professional and personal life. In his spare time, he loves to watch football and cheer on his Bengals, Bearcats, and Buckeyes. He also enjoys relaxing in nature and is an avid gamer.

A native Cincinnatian, Ryan joined PGE in 2015. He studied chemical engineering at UC and loves applying his knowledge by helping customers solve problems. He loves Cincy for its big city feel, without the big city crowds. Ryan's proudest achievement is becoming a dad to daughter, Ebba. He enjoys golf, following his favorite sports teams, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.

Ryan earned his Civil Engineering degree from Kansas State University and currently resides in Kansas City. He proudly served as a Jet Engine Mechanic in the U.S. Air Force National Guard before joining PGE. Ryan enjoys cheering for his favorite KC teams and his animals, but his favorite things are taking walks with his wife of 16 years and movie/game nights with their three kids.

Sophia is a Site Procurement Manager and has been with PGE since 2022. She studied Industrial Management and Asian Studies at the University of Cincinnati. Strong communication skills and an emphasis on customer service benefit the sites in her region. Sophia also holds a private pilot’s license and has a passion for vintage aircraft.

Troy has been with PGE since it was founded in 2005. He studied engineering tech at UC & is passionate about teaching people the industry. Troy resides in Nashville, TN with his wife, two boys, and two dogs. Outside of work, Troy cheers on his Vols, spring breaks with his family, and explores the great outdoors. His favorite thing about PGE is the integrity and ambition of the team.

He is passionate about operational/tactical excellence & draws inspiration from the enduring dedication and hard work of his team members.
